Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from noelwhittakerebooks.com.au, operated by Adpower Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

What you're buying

You're buying a digital ebook, delivered as a download immediately after checkout and by an emailed link. You're not buying a printed book. Printed editions are available separately from noelwhittaker.com.au.

Each purchase includes the book in both PDF and Epub, so it works on essentially any device. You get both files; you don't choose between them.

What you may do with it

The book is yours to read, keep, and re-download on any device you personally own, for as long as you like. Copy it to your phone, your tablet, your e-reader, your laptop — that's all fine.

What you may not do is share it publicly, upload it to a file-sharing site, resell it, or distribute copies to people outside your household. Noel Whittaker and his publishers hold the copyright, and the low direct price depends on people respecting that.

If you want to use the book for teaching, in a workplace, or across an organisation, get in touch — we're happy to arrange it, and there are institutional editions.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. We may change prices at any time, but never for an order you've already placed. Payment is processed by Shopify; we don't see or store your card details.

Refunds

Availability

We try to keep the site and your download links working, but we can't promise uninterrupted access. If a link stops working, email us and we'll send a new one.

Our books are revised regularly to keep up with Australian tax, super and pension law. Buying one edition doesn't entitle you to later editions free of charge, though we often offer existing customers a discount or free upgrade when a new edition lands.

Nothing here is financial advice

Noel's books are general information, written for a general Australian audience. They don't take account of your particular circumstances, and they are not personal financial, tax or legal advice. Before acting on anything you read, consider whether it fits your situation and, where it matters, talk to a licensed adviser. Laws and thresholds change, and while we update the books regularly, no book can be current for every reader at every moment.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to a book or this site is limited to re-supplying the book or refunding what you paid for it, at our option. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Your account and your data

You don't need an account to buy, but you can create one to re-download past purchases. Keep your login details to yourself. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
